Strategic Manager

A new exciting opportunity exists within the Ministry of Climate Change to lead a dynamic team in driving the whole-of-government strategic agenda for Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction.

The Strategic Manager of the NAB is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the NAB Secretariat’s operational and administrative functions. Working under the guidance of the National Advisory Board on Climate Change & Disaster Risk Reduction, co-chaired by the Director Generals of the Ministry of Climate Change and the Prime Minister’s Office, the NAB

Strategic Manager defines the institution’s strategic vision, and is accountable for its implementation and the results achieved.

Project Development Specialist

The Climate Change and Disaster Risk Project Development Specialist of the NAB is responsible for providing cross sector coordination, collaboration, analysis of all CC/DRR project, programs, activities and initiatives within Vanuatu. Working under the guidance and direct report of the National Advisory Board Secretariat Strategic Manager, the CC/DRR Project Development Specialist

will maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders that are important collaborators in the NAB’s efforts, most notably at the national and regional level acting as the key focal point for donors in the development of new and potentially ongoing CC/DRR projects.
