| | The Ministry of Education wishes to recruit for its Secondary Division a temporary qualified Chemistry/Biology Teacher at Matevulu College in Santo. |

| | The post is a temporary post from the date of resumed duty to December 31st 2013. |

| | 1) Plans and prepares lessons |
| | 2) Attends all classes punctually |
| | 3) Teaches to the national curriculum, appropriate examination prescriptions, and any other requirements of the school programme |
| | 4) Assesses students’ progress and performance regularly and maintains records |
| | 5) Assists students individually as required |
| | 6) Attends and fulfils other duties punctually |
| | 7) Maintains high standards of dress and behaviour |
| | 8) Refrains from any activity that reflects poorly on his/her integrity |
| | 9) Supports and promotes school rules |
| | 10) Demonstrates a commitment to personal professional development |
| | 11) Maintains co-operative relationships with colleagues |
| | 12) Carries out duties and responsibilities as directed by the Principal. |

| | Qualifications or experience required: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Must hold a Bachelor of Education in Science and/or Bachelor in Science |
| | - In dept. knowledge in Science- Chemistry and Biology |
| | - At least three years’ experience in teaching. |
