Key Duties & Responsibilities

Selection Criteria:

Our ideal candidate:
At least 3-5 years relevant work experience and a full working knowledge of a hotel operation, its service and recreational requirements and able to handle guest inquiries promptly and efficiently
Have a wide knowledge and experience of analytical administrative and management skills
Have completed Basic training of Trainers and Open Water Boat Masters training
Have a pleasant and outgoing personality with a good command of English both written and spoken
Have excellent communication and inter-personnel skills
Have knowledge of First Aid/CPR and OHS practices and also emergency procedures
Be able to direct and supervise the activates attendants using the hotel guidelines to provide the highest standards of courteous service while permitting acceptable profit levels
The ability to work across flexible rosters including weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and school holidays
Represents the company in a visibly professional manner, demonstrating pride and care in appearance and grooming

Undertake any other reasonable duty assigned by your Department Head and/or Resort Manager and/or his appointed Assistant
To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel's staff handbook and the regulations contained therein.
To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Resort's policy relating to fire, health and hygiene, cyclone and safety procedures.

 

Selection Criteria:

Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field preferred, however not essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
An outgoing personality with strong attention to detail.
Proven administrative, organizational and time management skills.
The adaptability to build strong internal and external working relationships.
Minimum of 5 years' experience
Previous experience delivering the HR function within a Hotel environment is desirable, however not essential.

The Engineering Officer will be based in Port Vila providing overall  lead to design, planning implementation and oversight related to the extension or upgrade of existing VAN-PAWA operated electricity networks. 2. Objectives of the Position

2.1. . The core objectives of the Engineering Officer role are as follows.

Organisation Description: 

The Nambatu Vet is a newly established veterinary service for companion animals in Port Vila.

 

Job Desctiption:

Head veterinary nurse at the Nambatu Vet. Duties include supervising and training junior staff, animal handing and nursing, sterilisation of surgical equipment and sanitary control on the premises. Maintaining maintenance records on veterinary equipment and implementing in house maintenance requirements. Stock control. Client communications. Development and implement a training programme for junior staff and volunteers. Development of protocols, policies and standard operating procedures.

 

Selection Criteria:

Must have qualification in Veterinary Nursing equivalent to Royal College of Veterinary Surgeon's (RCVS) level three diploma in veterinary nursing or Australian certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
At least 10 years' experience in clinical veterinary practice
Experience in managing a team of veterinary professionals
Experience in training veterinary nurses
Experience in animal welfare and /or animal control programmes.
Must have driver's license
Excellent written and spoken English

 

Salary:

Commensurate with experience
