We are currently seeking an Office Administrator for a full-time position based in Port Vila. Managing the reception area you will be the first point of contact for our office and responsible for:
  • Answer all incoming calls and greeting of office guests
  • Record all weekly income and expenses and reconcile to the cash book
  • Manage VAT return and VNPF payments
  • Manage invoicing and client follow-ups
  • Prepare banking
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the Brisbane head office
  • Gather weekly timesheets for the Brisbane head office

  • HR Administrative duties including managing visa requirements for expatriate staff and onboarding.

      You must have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role along with relevant qualifications in accounts, finance or business administration. You must also be able to demonstrate:

      Job Description:
      Assisting the Manager in planning, initiating, and managing IT related projects, guiding and supporting the work of other staff, and in serving as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.

      This is a key role in leading, managing, coordinating and supporting core IT systems and operations and other IT/ICT related responsibilities. 
      Manage, support and maintain the local area network including its applications, its associated wide area network, and users of these systems. 

      The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
      • Ensuring the integrity and security of core IT systems and operations, and all of its IT/ICT related equipment

      • At least 3 years relevant and direct, hands-on, IT/ ICT/Information Systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

      • High-level and demonstrable knowledge and understanding of proxy and firewalls

      Job Description:
      The Public Health directorate under the Ministry of Health with collaboration between the Fred Hollows Foundation New Zealand wishes to recruit an experienced and qualified person to the position seen below.

      The Eye Care Project Coordinator has responsibility for implementing all of the Fred Hollows Foundation’s contracted Program activities that pertain to Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) and eye care programs in Vanuatu, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, Public Health Directorate Programs. The role will work closely with the current NCD, DR personnel, and eye team. The Eye Care Project Coordinator will implement and coordinate DR programs, travel throughout Vanuatu to create awareness, facilitate trainings, and strengthen referral pathways to address general and diabetic related eye conditions.

      The role is essential in establishing the program in a way that leads to long term sustainability through integration with existing health systems. It is envisaged that, at end of contract term, this role will be transferred into the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) organizational structure under the Public Health Directorate.
      Criteria: 
      Basic Qualifications/Experience:
      • Recognized registered nursing qualification, or
      • Diploma, degree, certificate or qualification in a relevant clinical or public health field
      • 2+ years clinical experience at both hospitals and Community Public Health Nursing experiences
      Desired Qualifications/Experience:
      • Formal training in NCD or Eye Care and/or diploma or certificate in Eye Care, Dietetics and/or NCDs
      Desired Skills:
      • Good competency in computers (Word, Excel, Email)

              As a YCV Board member, you will be directly contributing to programs that provide Vanuatu’s young people with leadership, employment and business opportunities. You will gain experience in organisational leadership and governance and volunteer alongside likeminded people.               What would I do as a Board member?
              As a Board member, you will provide leadership and use your special skills and experience to help YCV achieve its vision for youth in Vanuatu. All Board members will be expected to volunteer their time (approximately 4-10 hours per month) to attend Board meetings, participate in discussions and decision-making, contribute to strategic planning activities, publicly support YCV’s programs and assist them to increase their profile in the community.
