	The Position
	The Manager – Finance, will manage the finance function for the CARE International program in Vanuatu. This position will ensure that all appropriate finance systems, policies and procedures are in place and in line with CARE International and donor requirements. The Manager – Finance, is expected to contribute to the strategic management of the program office and work in a collegial and team spirit to achieve these goals.
	Essential Selection Criteria
	► Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance Management, Grant Management desirable
	► Minimum 5 years relevant work experience, preferably in Finance Management with at least 2 years with an International Non-Government Organisation (INGO) or equivalent;
	► Ability to manage the finance technical function, with minimal supervision;
	Desirable Selection Criteria
	► Knowledge of relevant Vanuatu laws;
	► Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills, including the ability to plan and manage workflows and balance competing priorities to ensure timely processing to meet deadlines in a complex environment
	► Fully conversant in Microsoft Office with knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel, excellent numeric skills and knowledge of Sun Systems accounting software an asset

Construction Supervisor

	With seven offices spanning across the Pacific, Kramer Ausenco is the largest and leading independent professional Project Management and Engineering Services organisations in the region.
	The Position
	The Construction Supervisor position is a short-term role based on Tanna until the end of June 2017. You will be responsible to: • Complete quality inspections and oversee contractors and sub-contractors work • Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards • Resolve problems and identify construction management system improvements • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures • Comply with contract requirements, country laws and provincial regulations • Approve construction works by conducting inspections at critical phases  of completion • Ensure contract specifications and material testing by the contractor are complied with the specifications in the contract • Identify variances and implement corrective actions • Conduct monthly site meetings with the contractor, record the discussions and prepare Minutes of the Meetings for circulation • Liaise with selected NGO to ensure the social and gender issues are adequately addressed • Supervise the contractor’s implementation of the environmental management plan To be successful you must have a Higher Certificate or Diploma in Building Construction (or related field) and have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in managing and supervising building construction works of contractors on site. You will preferably have 2 years’ experience with ADB or other externally assisted projects along with: • Thorough knowledge of the properties of materials particularly steel, cement, concrete, timber, aluminum, galvanized materials, water, paint, glass, pvc pipes or conduits • Working knowledge of supervising a contract of works on site • Demonstrated experience of independently conducting monthly site meetings with contractors on sites of contracts greater than US$4 million • Good knowledge of the conditions of contract • Sensitivity to gender issues will be crucial Basic accommodation will be provided as will a subsistence allowance.
	Essential Selection Criteria
	► Higher Certificate or Diploma in Building Construction (or related field)
	► Minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing and supervising building construction works of contractors on site
	► Ability to work in Vanuatu
	► Must be available to commence by end of March 2017
	Desirable Selection Criteria
	► Preferably have 2 years’ experience with ADB or other externally assisted projects
	Open to Vanuatu citizens and those eligible to work in Vanuatu.
