Job Description: Coordinate the entire operation of the restaurant and bar during scheduled shifts Recruit, train, motivate, roster and supervise staff Check daily takings, night audits, reconciliation of accounts Manage stock levels, order and shop for restaurant supplies Put in place any necessary procedures to increase the efficiency and productivity of the business Liaise with guests, employees, and the community Assist with the marketing activities of the restaurant such as promotional events and functions Check that meals produced by the chefs follow the description in the restaurant menus Check that high standards are maintained in quality of food, service, hygiene, health and safety Supported by a team of up to 20 staff employed across all areas of chefs, waiters, dishwashers, cashiers.
