  Job Desctiption:
  We have immediate vacancies for Project Manager for sustainable agriculture  and agri crop processing operations in following areas, Santo & Malekula  Islands, Vanuatu
  
  Responsibilities for Project Manager
  •	Develop and manage a detailed project plan and work plan for the assigned  project by the top management.
  •	Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless  execution of the project.
  •	Responsible for staff & labor recruitments and their payrolls.
  •	Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
  •	Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within the  budget.
  •	Track project costs to meet budget.
  •	Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant  stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
  •	Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire  project execution.
  •	Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an  effective and efficient manner:
  o	Human resource – Staff & labor
  o	Seeds
  o	Fertilizer
  o	Agro chemicals
  o	Machinery, equipment, and vehicles
  o	Etc.
  •	Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  •	Monitor progress and adjust as needed.
  •	Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques  to identify areas for improvement.
  •	Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope,  schedule, and costs.
  •	Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  •	Liaising with government entities.
  •	Report to management as needed.

  Selection Criteria:
  Key requirements
  •	Master's degree in agriculture or a related field. Crop science or soil  science specialization is required.
  •	Minimum 5-10 years work experience with project management, agriculture, and  human resource management in Agriculture sector. Experience agri crop processing  and value addition will be an added advantage.
  •	In debt knowledge of agriculture industry in Vanuatu and the Pacific, crop  management practices, irrigation systems and water supply solutions in Vanuatu  with emphasis on Santo and Malekula.
  •	Experience within extension services / farmer training, recruitment, and  support to famer communities, experience from working with farmers and farmer  networks, and plantation operations.
  •	A valid driving license for class B or more and a motorbike.
  •	Fluency in writing & communication skills in English & Bislama.
  •	Professional level computer literacy in the use of Microsoft Office,  Internet & E-mail.
  •	Proven ability to solve problems creatively and able to handle stress and  pressure.
  •	Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a  project team.
  •	Excellent analytical skills and strong interpersonal and communication  skills 
  •	Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and  timeline.
  •	Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
