The Vanuatu Land Program has been operational for two years and is seeking an Institutional Adviser to support institutional reform and capacity building initiatives. The adviser will work closely with Program partners including the Department of Lands, Malvatumauri, Customary Lands Tribunal Unit and Department of Local Authorities. It is expected

that the adviser will be able to demonstrate, preferably in a number of developing countries, extensive experience in supporting capacity building, assessing training needs, developing and delivering training programs and supporting institutional reform.

The position will be for a maximum period of up to 17 months and will be spread over a period of two and a half years. There will some flexibility in relation to the various assignments but it is expected that the first assignment will be for a period of up to months of continuous input. Due to the need to have flexibility of inputs it is expected that the

person applying for this position will be a resident of Vanuatu.
