Job Desctiption:
Archipel Solutions is expanding its rural fuel and hardware network across Vanuatu. We're looking for a dynamic and adaptable Island Sales & Logistics Coordinator who can drive customer engagement, manage stock levels, support remote station operators, and help grow our rural market presence.
This is a hybrid role with a strong focus on sales, customer service, and basic logistics support. You'll be based in Port Vila but must be willing to travel occasionally to rural station locations like South Epi, Pentecost, and Ambae.
Key Responsibilities:
-Respond quickly to customer inquiries (Facebook, phone, SMS, email)
-Follow up leads from social media and online platforms
-Support sales campaigns and coordinate community outreach
-Process and track orders for hardware and fuel supplies
-Coordinate with station operators on stock levels and reorders
-Keep basic inventory records (Excel or Google Sheets)
-Travel to outer island sites for refresher training, coordination, or onboarding
-Assist in onboarding new station operators and suppliers
Selection Criteria:
Requirements:
-Strong communication skills in Bislama and English (French a bonus)
-Comfortable using a computer, smartphone, and Google Workspace
-Willing to learn Shopify and stock tracking systems (training provided)
-Able to travel by plane or boat as needed
-Reliable, self-motivated, and highly organized
-Open to growing into a supervisory or island ops manager role over time
