Organisation Description: 
The Department of Women's Affairs seeks to advance the status of Ni-Vanuatu women and to enhance their lives through focused policy formulation, targeted action plans and working in strategic partnerships. The Department's mandate is underpinned by the Women in Development approach and by the Gender and Development approach.



Job Desctiption:
To undertake liaison and advocacy on behalf of the Department with
the wider community, including key government agencies and
stakeholders, forge strategic alliances with such entities, and
undertake other functions highlighted in the duties and responsibilities.

Selection Criteria:
Experience and skills
Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant field and proven
record of commitment to advancing the status of women, girls, children and the
disabled.
Qualification
Tertiary qualifications at University level
Special Business Education
Social Work, Media and Journalism, Public Administration, Development Studies,
Community Development and fair knowledge of advocacy work, Vanuatu Social
and economic systems.
Special skills
Good keyboard skills and ability to MS Words, MS Power Point
Excellent analytical skills
Good judgement skills
Good interpretation skills
Good planning and report writing skills and
Good research and communication skills
Languages
English, French and Bislama

Salary:
Annual Salary: VT 1,001,300
