Organisation Description:
The Ministry of Justice and Community Services of Vanuatu oversees or provides support to the following law-related agencies: the courts (Supreme, Magistrates, Island Courts), the tribunals, the correctional centres, child rights, family protection, disability advocacy and services, empowerment of women, and public prosecution and defense services as well as legal advice to the government. The ministry also supports agencies that review and create new laws and safeguard human rights.
Job Desctiption:
Responsibility to undertake the Ministry's overall objective of building capacity, skills and knowledge in all positions as part of organisational capacity building initiative.
Selection Criteria:
Qualification
Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Human resource Management, Business or Commerce is also preferable
Experience
• 3-5 years experience in medium or large scale organisations
• Analytical thinker, Practical thinker, Innovative thinker
Ability to analyse data and information and prepare analytical reports in
Bislama and English
• Good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to build
rapport and relationship with stakeholders and colleagues
Great coordination skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent Presentation skills
Languages
• English and Bislama. French is desirable.
Salary:
Annual Salary: 2,489,500 Vt
