| | The World Health Organization invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of driver based at its country office in Port Vila. As a member of the Country team, the staff member is expected to perform quality work. The contract that we offer is for 2 years, with a 3-month probationary period, and a competitive sal;ary and benefits package. The driver will work under supervision |

| | Summary Duties |
| | 1. Drives the official vechicles of the CLO Vanuatu for the transport of authorized personnel and delivery/collection of mails, documents, consignments and other items; |
| | 2. Meets official personnel at the airport and facilitates immigration and custom formalities as required;3. 3. Responsible for day-today maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned vehicle, checks oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc. Performs minor repairs and arranges for other repairs; |
| | 4. Logs Official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes, greasing, etc; |
| | 5. Ensures that steps required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accident; |
| | 6. Ensures vehicle insurance, vehicle taxes, etc. Are renewed on time |
| | 7. Performs miscellaneous errands as required; |
| | 8. Performs duties not directly related to driving activities when required to do so (e.g photo copying, packing materials for despatch, etc) |
| | 9. Performs other duties as when required; |

| | Eligibility |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Must possess valid driver's license to drive automobile/minibuses. |
| | - Excellent and up-to-date knowledge of driving and traffic rules and regulations. |
| | - An excellent knowledge of the layout and streets of Port Vila and environs. |
| | - Skills in motor Vehicle mechanics. |
| | - Ability to work harmoniously as a member of a team, adapt to diverse educational and cultural backgrounds, and maintain a high standard of personal conduct. |
| | - He/She should have a good command of English and Bislama. Good command of French is an advantage. |
| | - Completion of primary education. |
| | - Two or three years' experience as a driver with safe driving record. |
