| | Telcom Vanuatu Limited is seeking for a Legal & Regulatory officer to be based in Port Vila. Thisreports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and involves working with a broad range of legal & regulatory matters related to the company. |
| | Keys reponsibilties will include: |
| | - Vetting of all documents and commercials and ensuring that it abide to all laws and legislations |
| | - Responsible to safeguard the organization interest in all contracts with internal and externel bodies. |
| | - Maintenance of contracts register and ensuring that it's updated and renewals are done on time. |
| | - Provision of legal advice to ensure company compliance with statutory obligations. |
| | - Assist in arbitration, concilation and commercial negotiation |
| | - Responsible for all matters related contracts for TVL sites |
| | - Liaision with comPANY EXTERNAL LEGAL ADVISORS |
| | - Be the key liaision with TRR on regulatory matters |
| | - Ensuring all responses to the regulatory is done on time and promptly |
| | - Liaising at the group level to position on all regulatory matters. |

| | Criteria: |
| | - Law or degree (LLB) from a recognized institution |
| | - Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills |
| | - Ability to work independently |
| | - Relevant working experiences as an in-house legal advisor or with a commercial law firm |
| | - Fluent in both English, French and Bislama |
| | - working knowledge and practical application of Commercial law. |
| | - Qualified to represent the organization in court. |
