| | The Attorney General is the Principal Legal Officer of the Republic of Vanuatu and the Principal Adviser to the Government of Vanuatu. |
| | The Vanuatu Government wishes to recruit qualified Ni-Vanuatu lawyer to the position of Attorney General. |

| | Criteria: |
| | - Have been in practice as a barrister or solicitor or both in Vanuatu or in a Commonwealth country or French teritory or partly in one and partly in one of the others for a period of, or periods amounting in aggregate to, |
| | not less than 7 years; |
| | - Have been admitted to practice in Vanuatu as a legal practitioner. |
| | - Be prepared to work long and odd hours in and out of the Office. |
| | - Have at least 7 years experience in a management position. |
| | - Have the ability to act independently. |
