| | 1) Responsible for the overall planning, delivery and performance management of Save the Children’s two core health programs in Vanuatu |
| | 2) Provide technical guidance and management support to staff and partners in all provinces and be responsible for all aspects of program implementation including: M&E, administration, training, financial and reporting requirements of both programs |
| | 3) Require regular organizational representation, coordination and Aus AID, Vanuatu Ministry of Health and provincial health departments nationally. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Demonstrated ability to manage complex and inter-connected health projects with restricted capacity, on time and within budget; Confidence in relationship building, influencing and well developed |
| | interpersonal sills and ability to present to a diverse range of people, stakeholders and media personnel; Demonstrated significant experience in the health sector in a developing country context |
| | (pacific experience highly desirable) |
| | - Experience in integrated programming with Government health systems; Technical understanding of nutrition, sexual and reproductive health, community based health, birth preparedness, and |
| | primary health |
| | - Strong time management and organisational skills; High levels of attention to detail and quality; Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or relevant/related discipline, highly desirable. |
