| | Job Description: |
| | The Reserve Bank of Vanuatu invited applications for the position of an Analyst in the External Markets Unit (EMU) of its financial markets department. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Reports directly to the Manager, EMU |
| | 2) Responsible for undertaking dealings in foreign exchange, in accordance with the foreign exchange dealing manual |
| | 3) Undertaking of foreign exchange dealings and transactions arising from foreign reserves management |
| | 4) Assessment of external international financial market developments |
| | 5) Assisting in the preparation of policies for the portfolio managements of foreign reserves to strengthen risk management techniques, evaluation returns and other investment considerations |
| | 6) Assisting in regular reports to the banks investment committee and the banks management committee |
| | 7) Assisting in the setting and distribution of RBV daily vatu exchange rates |
| | 8) Performing other duties as requested from time to time by superiors. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |

| | - Must possess a degree in banking and finance, economics or related field; He/she should have strong analytical skills; High degree of accuracy and be computer literate; An understanding of the |
| | foreign exchange, international markets and money markets is necessary |
| | - Fluent in both written and spoken english and have a good understanding of french. |
