Job Desctiption:

Tradebase Plumbing Supplies is currently seeking an enthusiastic shop manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our store, coordinate staff and ensure our customers have excellent shopping experiences.  

Duties and responsibilities include:
• Driving sales
• Enforcing company policies
• Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating employees.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
• Managing inventory
• Addressing employee disputes, questions, and concerns
• Assisting customers within store products and merchandise required for their plumbing needs. Dealing with customer complaints.
• Organising delivery of goods to customer's location
• Keeping company vehicle maintained and clean.
• Assisting current staff with daily tasks.
• Organising rolling/annual stock takes.

 

Selection Criteria:

• Previous experience in management and a good understanding of business operation.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written
• Good interpersonal & conflict resolution skills
• Valid driver's license with no previous convictions.
• Experience in Hardware/Plumbing background.
• Honest and reliable.
• Have a friendly and engaging personality.
