Currently being engaged by several large organisations (both local and international) and aid donors. Hence the need to recruit to accommodate the increasing workload.

 

Job Desctiption:

The trainee will be someone who will have proven integrity (honest), intelligence (quick thinker) and energy (self-motivated drive). At least year 13 passes in English, Maths, Science, Agriculture and ICT. You will be someone eager to learn and apply the skills quickly. All training will be provided. A bonus if you can drive a manual.

 

Selection Criteria:

No experience required, as all skills and knowledge will be gained on the job. Training in compliance auditing will be provided.  At least a 13 year school certificate with a pass in Maths, English, Science, Agriculture and ICT. Excellent written and spoken English, with a driver's licence preferred.

Selection Criteria:

• renforcer la capacité institutionnelle du BNSV en organisant des séances de formation en interne en vue de permettre au personnel de développer, produire et diffuser en temps opportun des statistiques de qualité ainsi que des indicateurs pour le PNDD obtenus dans le cadre des recensements et sondages;
• aider la section du Recensement et sondage à élaborer et finaliser le sondage pour le PNDD et les résultats analytiques du recensement de 2020;
• aider la section du Recensement et sondage à concevoir et finaliser les supports de formation, le guide de l'animateur de formation et tout autre outil nécessaire au développement du personnel du BNSV;
• former, encadrer et conseiller en vue d'un transfert de compétences aux homologues locaux;
• examiner, réviser les priorités prévues dans la Stratégie nationale de développement des statistiques (SNDS) dont il/elle est censé en avoir une connaissance préalable et aider à mettre œuvre les actions nécessaires à l'obtention des résultats attendus;
• apporter un soutien plus large au BNSV notamment pour ce qui est de concerter avec les partenaires techniques et aider le personnel cadre du BNSV à la demande du statisticien principal et ce en raison, surtout, des restrictions de déplacement dues à la pandémie du covid-19.

Selection Criteria:

• Identify fitness level and health.
• Oversee completion of exercise routines.  
• Track physical progress.

• Oversee the use of fitness equipment to ensure participants exercise properly and safely.
Experience Level
• Previous work experience as a Gym and Fitness Trainer or similar role.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Can work as a team.
• Available to work on weekends and other part time roles, if requested.

Job Desctiption:

The Vanuatu National Statistics Office, Ministry of Finance & Economic Management (MFEM) is seeking to recruit a qualified Data Analysis Advisor (the "Advisor") on a short-term basis of 5 months. The consulting services provided under this assignment will enable VNSO staff to regularly disseminate statistical information that meets user's requirements.

 

Selection Criteria:

• To ensure the VNSO has the institutional capacity through an 'in-house' training programme so that staff can develop, produce and disseminate timely and quality census and survey statistics, as well as NSDP indicators;
• To support the Census and Survey Section develop and finalise the NSDP survey and 2020 Census 'analytical outputs;
• To work with Census and Survey Section to develop and finalise VNSO in-house training materials, facilitator guides and other tools to strengthen VNSO in-house capacity development function;
• As a technical advisor in this position, training, mentoring and advice is required to be provided to necessitate skills transfer to the local counter parts;
• As technical advisor with working knowledge of the Vanuatu NSDS, the advisor is required to review and revise priorities and assist with implementation and achieving intended results;
• Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic and travel restrictions, the Advisor could be requested by the Government Statistician to provide broader support to the VNSO, including liaising with technical partners, and supporting the VNSO senior management team.

We are opening a new Branch in North Efate and we are looking for a motivated individual with professional attitude and skills to work with our team of committed staff members.

The Administration Assistant's job is to provide support to the Finance and Administration Team who has the responsibility in four general areas: financial management & reporting, human resources management, information technology and operational support.

 

Selection Criteria:

• Have a passion for community service and a desire to help

• Good business and financial sense

• Have good math skills and abilities

• Fluent in both Bislama and English

• At least a Year 12 graduate.  Applicant with certificate or diploma in business or accounting is preferred
