        We have an immediate opening for a Community Engagement Officer for our Santo Office. 

        Key Purpose of these positions
        The Community Engagement Officer will work closely with the Community Training Officer, Field Manager and Program Management Team to ensure quality Nutrition programs are implemented for selected groups in Santo. The Community Engagement Officer will also work closely with Field Teams to ensure timely follow up after trainings to ensure that positive nutrition behaviours are retained. The Community Engagement Officer will be based in Save the Children Office in Luganville and will be managed by the SANMA Field Manager.

        Qualifications/Accreditations:
        • Completed High School Level – Year 12
        • Diploma in Community Services an advantage
        Knowledge/Experience:

        • 3 years’ experience involvement in community level activities for example youth activities, sports, church or developmental programs, including liaising with community leaders
        • Some knowledge of reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health
        Skills/Abilities:
        • Excellent facilitation skills
        • Good verbal and written communication skills in both Bislama and English
        • Ability to communicate sensitive health messages surrounding Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health
        • Ability to plan and organize self and others to ensure the timely completion of tasks while working to deadlines
        • Willing and able to travel to and work in remote communities.

              Job Description:
              The Vanuatu Red Cross Society, working jointly with the support of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, is seeking applications for a dynamic and highly motivated person to immediately fill Logistics Officer position as part of its VRCS team.

              Job Duties & Responsibilities
              • Implement, maintain and follow VRCS standard warehouse practices and record keeping in accordance with audit trail standards
              • Ensure the correct storage and rotation of stocks, as well as proper structural maintenance of warehouse(s) in view of maintaining all stocks in good condition
              • Implement and maintain security and safety procedures and systems
              • Maintain accurate stock records and controls at all times; provide weekly and monthly stock reports to the Logistics Coordinator and advice on warehousing issues that affect the overall logistics operation
              • Coordinate and monitor the Management of the existing light vehicle to ensure proper planning and usage of the vehicles according to the needs of the ongoing operation
              • Plan, coordinate and manage the commercial transport contracts – road, sea and air
              • Participate in the field level procurement of goods and services, obtaining quotations, preparing comparative bid analyses (CBA) and making recommendations for selecting the suitable suppliers/service providers.

              • Educated to graduate degree level and/or can demonstrate equivalent intellectual capacity
              • Professional qualification or equivalent of qualifying experience in logistics
