Job Description:
World vision is a Christian humanitarian
organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to
overcome poverty and injustice. Since 1981, we have been working to transform
communities through delivering programming in education, health care, water,
agriculture and suitable lively hoods. In line with Vanuatu Governments
priority and agenda (2006). World Vision in partnership with communities deliver
programs that are relevant, cost efficient, effective and make a lasting
difference. Community development is a key focus of World Vision Vanuatu, with
80% of our staff base in communities where we work.
We are recruiting for the position of
Area Program Manager - this is a Local position to be base at World Vision
Office in Lenakel Tanna.
Duties:
- Lead the field
officer including Program Staff in coordinating integrated sector programming
for all areas in which WV works (i.e. Ward, Area Council, Zone, etc. Depending
on Province) including budgeting, Planning implementation and reporting
- Lead and
coordinate reporting for all sectors in the area program
- Coordinate
program quality and operational support for the area program
- Represent the
area development program in all high level meetings, including meetings in
national program office level.
