Job Desctiption:

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Payroll Administration
- Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all hotel staff in compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records including attendance, leave balances, and payroll deductions.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure timely updates on new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation.
- Prepare payroll reports and reconcile payroll accounts.
- Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
🔹 Accounts Receivable
- Generate and issue invoices for group bookings, events, and long-stay guests.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile guest folios and ensure accurate posting of charges and payments.
- Liaise with the front office and sales teams to resolve billing issues.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and prepare aging reports.
🔹 General Finance Support
- Assist in daily revenue reconciliation and banking procedures.
-Assist in daily Cash flow, Bank entry and bank reconciliation
- Support month-end closing activities including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Help prepare financial reports and assist with audits.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed

 

Selection Criteria:

Our ideal candidate:
- 1+ years of experience in a similar finance role (hotel experience preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work additional hours when required

• Prepare hotel and department budgets and financial forecasts and reporting
• Ensure all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and oversee the process of credit extension
and collection of overdue accounts
• Review rates and recommend rate strategy to the General Manager; participate in sales strategy
meetings
• Manage accounts payable to balance cash flow and reputation with suppliers

 

Selection Criteria:

Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting or Finance
Or three years in hotel accounting or internal audit with one year in a supervisory role
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Must speak fluent English
