Job Desctiption:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manage and monitor all DC operations to ensure they comply with business strategies and requirements
Develop strong working relationships with key senior leaders within the business to ensure alignment of goals and collaboration across all departments
Manage and monitor DC costs to ensure they meet or are better than agreed budget levels
Ensure most appropriate and effective space utilisation within the facility
Daily use of DEAR Inventory system to manage stock
Head up new project to implement new technology solutions in the warehouse to streamline Ops
Management of rolling stock takes & annual stocktake, BBDs and Damaged goods
Investigating stock discrepancies/variances and errors
Investigating picking/supply errors and make recommendations
Resolve and coordinate the repair of all breakdowns through internal/external resources
Oversee the WH&S/HACCP plan of the area, maintaining a clean, safe and secure work environment
Record all incidents, including hazards, near misses and injuries
Conduct training of equipment when required
Take ownership of the performance, training and personal development of your team
Improving processes and policies in support ofour goals and vision

 

Selection Criteria:

5years + in a similar role in a distribution/warehouse/stock control environment
Experience using inventory management software
Experience managing a team
Strong work ethic & self motivated
Solid understanding of workplace safety practices
Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, as you manage, motivate and support the team
Strong computer skills & Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
Excellent ability to communicate at all levels, both written and verbally
Must have driver's license, forklift license, and able to work Saturdays

 

Salary:

Negotiable based on experience
