Organisation Description:
The Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) was established under the Vanuatu National Provident Fund Act [CAP 189] to provide security for workers during their working life and into retirement.
Job Desctiption:
The Insurance Manager will assist members with health insurance benefits, liaise with insurance companies regarding member claims, and financial challenges and handle inquiries on daily insurance.
Selection Criteria:
Qualification
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, and public relations or related from a recognized institution
• Must have at least more than 5 years of experience working for an insurance company
This position will report to General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate development, implementation and monitoring of framework for treating members fairly
• Manage standardization of insurance contracts to ensure that members are protected
• Liaise with Financial Sector regulators to develop programmes and license to support financial inclusion
• Review and analyse new regulations, policies and procedures for members protection and determine the impact of insurance services provided
