Job Description:
Telecom Vanuatu Limited is seeking for a Street Seller Officer to be based in Santo.

The mission is to ensure that:

Basic activities important to follow on day-to-day basis:
  • Achieving daily and monthly Target
  • Relationship building with business partners
  • Researching the market and related products
  • Presenting the product or service in a structured professional way face to face to business partners
  • Stock and Cash management
  • Market trend update.
Typical activities for Street Sales Officer include:
  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person
  • Responding to incoming inquiries
  • Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Gathering market and customer information
  • Representing their company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with Retailers
  • Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
  • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
  • Creating detailed proposal documents
  • Liaising with stock team to check the progress of existing orders
  • Checking the quantities of goods on display and in stock at retail points
  • Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the Street Sales In charge, or entering figures into a computer system and doing daily reconciliation of
  • the stock and cash
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed target
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
  • Feeding future buying trends back to superior
  • Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues
  • Taking best care of the company properties
  • Updating and training the retailers on new products and promotions
  • Following up on competitors activity regularly and update the same to the superior.
