Job Description:

The Pacific Aviation Safety Office (PASO) is currently implementing the Pacific Aviation Safety Office Reform Project (PASO Reform Project), supported by the World Bank. The project’s implementing Entity is PASO, with project implementation support from the Technical and Fiduciary Services Unit (TFSU) of the Pacific Aviation Investment Program (PAIP).PASO now intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for the Contract – Consulting Services –Quality System Design Consultancy.
The PAIP Program is a regional aviation project with the development objective to provide safe and secure air transport operations and environmentally sustainable and efficient airports and is being implemented in five (5) Pacific Island countries: Tonga, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Samoa and Vanuatu.
PASO now seeks a Quality System Design Consultancy to assist in establishing and implementing a Quality Assurance (QA) system as stipulated in section 5.2 of the overall PASO Business Plan and which remains a priority for the organisation.
Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualification form a recognized institution or equivalent relevant operational qualification
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience; i.e quality system design or similar
  • Proven experience in the development of aviation and quality assurance systems
  • Held Senior Management and Person roles
  • Having worked with and in an aviation regulatory body
  • Understanding or experience in regional oversight and audit systems
  • Strong technical, analytical and quality management skills in aviation quality systems
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation, communication skills in English
  • Demonstrable reporting skills
  • Strong networking and collaboration skills.
