| | An exciting opportunity exists to coordinate a climate change adaptation project for Live & Learn Vanuatu. We are looking for a motivated individual to be based in our Port Vila office with regular travel to Pentecost. |
| | You are also required to supply a Curriculum Vitae providing a complete history of your working/academic career. All applicants need to provide the contact details for three professional referees. |
| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Commit to enhancing a working knowledge of climate change adaptation |
| | 2) Organise, facilitate and evaluate grass roots engagement with target village |
| | 3) Engage Government Agencies to assist with project implementation and maintain strong networks with stakeholders |
| | 4) Provide reports and acquittals on field work as required by the Live & Learn Good Practice Manual. |
| | Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Excellent organisational skills and ability to use initiative; Demonstrated good understanding of climate change issues |
| | - Demonstrated excellent skills in workshop facilitation and delivering presentations and training; Well developed written communication and oral communication skills |
| | - Demonstrated computer skills with the ability to operate Microsoft Word, Excel, Skype and other computer applications |
| | - Formal qualifications in environmental or social science (or related field), or formal qualifications in education; Experience in developing materials for education, planning or communication |
| | - Experience in working with chiefs and villages; Experience in new enterprise development. |
