| | Carpenters Cash & Carry limited is looking for a qualified, experienced and efficient individual to fill in the position of 2nd Engineer for its cargo ship, Rabaul Trader, which is 191GT. |
| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Overall responsible for the technical and mechanical systems of the ship |
| | 2) Develop, control and execute plans for the maintenance of technical installations and equipment throughout the ship |
| | 3) Maintain and planned maintenance system up to date and complete all relevant documentation |
| | 4) Ensure optimum efficiency in the use of fuel, lubricants and spare parts etc. |
| | The Individual should meet the following requirements: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Age below 40 years; Certificate of competency; Engineer 300kW |
| | - Medical certificate; Safety certificate |
| | - Proficency in survival craft certificate |
| | - Advanced fire prevention & control certificate |
| | - Seaman's book; Ability to converse in English. |
