Organisation Description:
Forney Enterprise is a kava processing plant located on the South Pacific Vanuatu Island, Espiritu Santo.
Job Desctiption:
To plan, coordinate, and oversee the manufacturing of goods by ensuring that production processes run efficiently, meet quality standards, stay within budget, and are completed on time. Additionally, production managers are tasked with optimizing resources, improving production techniques, and managing the workforce to achieve optimal productivity and output.
Selection Criteria:
• Proven experience as a Production Manager in the food and beverage industry, with a track record of success in a fast-paced and growing environment.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance standards (HACCP).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills. (English Speaking)
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and adapt to new challenges.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field advantageous (or equivalent work experience)
