Job Description:
  1. Manages accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting; ensures accuracy and timelines
  2. Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines
  3. Manages monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements
  4. Enters status change information into project accounting software to ensure employee information is accurate and up to date.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five or more years of accounting experience
  • One or more years of leadership experience included
  • Experience working w/ general accepted accounting principles and software
  • Strong personal computer and business solution software skills
  • Good communication skills for communicating with support personnel
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good presentation skill for educating internal staffs on accounting principles
  • Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (French would be an advantage).


        Depending on experience 


        English, Bislama, French an advantage
