Westpac is looking for candidates to fill in Teller roles for its Port Vila and Santo branch. The teller role is a key customer facing role in our branch network which contributes to our mission of being the number one service organisation in the financial services industry by providing great experiences for our customers. You will act to ensure customers immediate service needs are met and identify opportunities by understanding their broader financial needs and referring more complex banking needs to specialist team members.

  • Provide superior service and asking questions to understand their requirements
  • Maintain a sense of urgency to service customers and reduce queues
  • Provide accurate information about products and services
  • Where customer needs have been identified, a warm well-qualified referral to a Customer Service Representative, Personal Banker or Home Finance Manager is encouraged
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Knowledge and Experience:
  • Experience in Customer Service and/or preferably in a bank
  • Demonstrated passion for delivering high quality customer experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Driver license is desirable.
