Job Description:

The Department of Youth and Sports Development wishes to recruit an individual for the following position of a Human Resource Officer.

Any interested person who wishes to apply for the position must possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:
  • A degree in public administration or equivalent with specific field of study in human resource management or other related field
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in Human Resource function and/or in any management and leadership position
  • Counselling, facilitation, reporting, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand government legislation relating to HR functions
  • Analytical, practical, and creative
  • High interpersonal, oral and and written communication skills
  • Professional, good character, respectful and honest
  • Language: English or French and Bislama.
