| | The Vanuatu Financial Services Commission wishes to advertise the position of its Chief Executive Officer or the Commissioner. |

| | The role will work closely with the Board, other financial institutions and the government in defining and developing major financial products aimed at optimizing revenue to the Government. |

| | The essential Skills required of the advertised CEO role are: |
| | Criteria: |
| | • Develop strategic operating plans that reflect the long- term objectives and priorties as set out by Board; |
| | • Take lead to putting the long term strategy of the commission into operation and making recommendations for its constant improvement and development; |
| | • Maintaining ongoing dialogue with the chairman of the Board, the Government and the industry; |
| | • Deliver strategic planning and resource management accountabilities; |
| | • Lead implementation of organization system changing to improve productively; |
| | • Proven Financial Management skills and/or Commercial background. |
| | • A post graduate university degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, Business, Legal or an equivalent which is relevant to the position; |
| | • A proven Operational Management experience; |
| | • A minimum of 7 years experience in a CEO position relevant to the disciplines for a financial institution. |
