| | The Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) is seeking to recruit a Bilingual (French & English) Information Officer for its Luganville office, Santo. This is a junior position within the VTO and requires an outgoing and a dedicated person who will be the face of VTO to the visitor information centre enquiries |
| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Report directly to the officer-in-charge, Vanuatu information centre, luganville, santo and also works closely with the marketing division |
| | 2) Maintenance of visitor information centre brochure stock levels and overall presentation of the centre |
| | 3) Recording visitor enquiry research statistics |
| | 4) Updating and management of tourism products database/contacts lists |
| | 5) Regular attendance at product presentations & famils to update knowledge of Vanuatu Tourism product |
| | 6) Providing timely response to general tourist email enquiries to the VTO (ensuring turnaround of less than 48 hours to tourism @vanuatu.travel enquiries). |

| | Criteria: |
| | - Have at least three years experience in the tourism sector, preferably in a similar position; Be computer literate and fluent in using microsoft programs, email, internet and other relevant programs |
| | - Must have good communication skills |
| | - Be fluent in French and English language |
| | - Have a formal qualification or training in tourism or any related field |
| | - Has a valid driver's licence. |
