| | As part of an AusAID funded, regionally co-ordinate (PNG, solomon Islands and vanuatu) community based adaptation project the position will assist in strengthening the resilience of communities and ecosystems towards climate change. | | 1) Assist in undertaking research into community knowledge, views and perceptions regarding climate change and agriculture |
| | 2) Provide regular progress reports and support efforts to monitor and evaluate impact and engage in all administrative and organisational aspects of the project |
| | 3) Work closely with other live & learn team members and assist with other live & learn projects where required. |

| | - Ability to plan, organize and monitor tasks at while maintaining a clear focus on sustainable outcomes; Able to coordinate a range of complex tasks simultaneously; Able to effectively priorities and organise |
| | own workload; Understanding of climate change, agriculture and environment issues and their application in vanuatu; Understanding of the socio-economic context of rural villages; Experience in community |
| | development and environmental project management an advantage |
