Job Desctiption:
We are looking for an experienced and innovative to join our team in our busy kitchen.
The job will involve :
Cooking guests' orders according to their preferences
Employing food safety best practices and makes sure that all kitchen staff members do the same
Selects choice ingredients that will give dishes the best flavour
Creating new specialties that will draw diners into the restaurantt
Determines how much food to order and maintains an appropriate supply at the restaurant
Keeps up with trends in cooking and the restaurant business to ensure that guests have a positive experience
Works quickly and accurately during busy periods, such as weekends and evenings
Occasionally takes on extra duties, such as cleaning, when the kitchen is short-staffed or the restaurant is particularly busy
Takes direction and works with the resorts management team




Selection Criteria:
Experience in a large busy restaurant .
Training in Culinary Arts, Experience, Works Quickly, Physical Stamina, Creative Flair, Flexible Schedule, Strong Communication, Organisational Skills, Team Mentality, Leadership Skills

Job Desctiption:
Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/ receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations,
Participate in audits and payroll,
Manage month-end and year-end closing transactions,
Monitor the daily performance of the accounting team,
Organise financial data into useable information and maintain updated records,
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements,
Ensure accounting policies and procedures are aligned with company targets

Selection Criteria:
Proven work experience as an Accounts Supervisor or in a similar role
Experience with accounting software (eg. MYOB, Zero)
Strong computer skills
Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations
Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
Attention to detail and accuracy
Team management skills
Ability to prioritize work
BS degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus

Job Desctiption:
We are looking for an experienced, efficient, and adaptable Administrator to assist us with our project providing assistance to the cyclone Harold disaster response.
This is a special opportunity for someone who wants to manage a unique approach combining the latest innovations with traditional methods to improve the delivery of disaster aid.
The post holder will be provided with on-line remote support from our Pacific hub in Suva as required.
The post holder reports to the Regional Lead – Pacific who is currently based in Vanuatu.
The post holder will be based in Port Vila.
The post is initially for 3 months with opportunity for longer term engagement for the right person.



Selection Criteria:
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• High standard of written and spoken English.


Salary:
70,000 Vatu/month (4 days per week)
