Organisation Description: 
The National University of Vanuatu (NUV) was established in January 2020. Its main campus is located in Port Vila and its purpose is to provide higher education advancement and lifelong learning through academic and professional excellence by way of training, teaching and learning in both the English and French official languages, research and international cooperation. The NUV has two Faculties – the Faculty of Humanities with five schools and the Faculty of Science and Technology also with five Schools established.

Job Desctiption:

✔ Duties and responsibilities: Administrative management of NUV studies programs

– Ensure the management of the courses with the partner universities: University of Toulouse I Capitole in France, University of New-Caledonia, Victoria University of Wellington, University Toulouse 2 Jean-Jaurès, Taylor's University of Malaysia and others;
– Manage student's applications and enrollments and follow-up administratively their academic progress;
– Coordinate the administrative logistic of courses and examinations: preparation and communication of the timetables, collection of students' grades, follow-up of the students' attendance;
– Ensure the administrative management of foreign and local lecturers and tutors: preparation of their contracts, reservation of airline tickets and accommodation, payment of their per diems;
– Ensure good communication between lecturers and students;
– Manage student placements: workplaces, internship agreement and organization of oral presentation;
– Propose internal and external communication of the program in French and in English and promote the programs;
– Manage students' enquiries by directing them accordingly;
– Provides other administrative support such as scheduling, writing correspondence, emailing, handling visitors, routing callers, and answering questions and requests.

Selection Criteria:
– Nationality : Ni-vanuatu
– Qualification : Bachelor in Administration, Management or equivalent
– Experience : 2 years' experience as Executive Assistant
– Special skills: Excellent writing skills in English and French, Computing tools (pack Office, Linux...)
– Management and Supervisory Skills
– Communication/ interpersonal Skills : Excellent interpersonal skills
– Behavioural Comptetencies : rigorous person, organized and punctual
– Language: the canditate must be trilingual (Bislama, French and English) both written and oral.
