Job Desctiption:

Reporting to the Agency Manager, the Receptionist & Customer Service Administrator is responsible for delivering a high standard of frontline service to our customers, as well as delivering and facilitating a range of end-to-end customer service support.

This is a key frontline role where you'll be the first point of contact for our valued customers, helping us deliver outstanding service every single day. What You'll Be Doing:


Your role will be varied, rewarding, and full of opportunities to make a real impact. You will answer incoming calls with professionalism and a warm, welcoming attitude as well as:


· Be a positive ambassador for NPDL/Transam, representing our brand with pride.

· Support customers with seafreight and airfreight enquiries.

· Prepare and send letters, invoices, and other correspondence.

· Organise and distribute mail and deliveries.

· Assist with customer follow-ups, including debt collection when needed.

· Keep our customer database accurate and up to date.

· Share weekly vessel schedules with our customers.

· Help with office housekeeping – keeping our workplace running smoothly.

· Jump in to support the wider team and take on any other duties as needed.

 

Selection Criteria:

What We're Looking For:


We're after someone who brings both heart and skill to the role. You are someone who can bring integrity and reliability, as well as some experience in the workforce in an administration or customer service role. With previous experience in an administration or customer service role, you will ideally have:-


· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.

· A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and help wherever needed.

· Confidence using office software and systems, particularly Microsoft Word & Excel.

· Knowledge of shipping or logistics would be a bonus but is not essential!
