Job Desctiption:

CENTER MANAGER (LOAN OFFICERS)
Recruits, trains and works with women who run their own small businesses. Having good endurance, he/she drives every day to different villages throughout Santo and Efate to implement our program by conducting group meetings which runs up to 1 hour. He/She is articulate and comfortable speaking to large groups of women. He/She is respectful by displaying the ability and willingness to get along well with women of various social classes and educational abilities.

MAIN DUTIES OF CENTER MANAGER:
1. Recruit and train new client members
2. Prepare loan applications and make loan assessments for small businesses
3. Collect weekly repayments and savings
4. Maintain good loan portfolio quality and control.

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
The Administration Assistant's job is to provide support to the Finance and Administration Team who has the responsibility in four general areas: financial management & reporting, human resources management, information technology and operational support.

 

Selection Criteria:

CENTER MANAGER
Must reside on Santo - (for Santo branch only)
Must possess a valid driver's license
At least year 12 with 2 years of work experience in a community, commercial banking or banking organization with demonstrated success and progress well regarded
Social work experience would be well regarded
Experience with women's groups and committees also well regarded
Ability to relate to and promote the social mission of SPBD whilst enforcing and complying     with commercial disciplines
Applicants with Certificate or Diploma in Business or Accounting is preferred.
Fluent in both Bislama and English

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
• Have a passion for community service and a desire to help
• Good business and financial sense
• Have good math skills and abilities
• Fluent in both Bislama and English
• At least a Year 12 graduate.  Applicant with certificate or diploma in business or accounting is preferred.

For Santo branch, he/she must reside in Santo.
