Job Description
Roles of Project Planning & Coordination Officer as outlined in the PSC terms of Reference and the following list:
• Monitor Drinking Water Safety and Security Plan (DWSSP) contractors
• Ensure Area Secretaries follow-up on DWSSP
• Support DoWR Provinces to conduct DWSSPs
• Ensure PWAC ranks DWSSPs
• Create document that explains Area Secretary, Chief and community roles to help villages get water
Selection Criteria
Qualification:
Bachelors

Special Business Education:
Policy & Planning or Environmental Science or Project Management or related Field

Experience:
At least 3 years’ experience working with report writing, consultation and liaison, project development, project management
Special Skills:
Advance research skills, experience in policy related issues, excellent computer skills, data bases and word suite, drivers licence an advantage

Thinking Style:
Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, confident & persuasive public speaker

Behavioural Competencies:
Ability to work under pressure and work independently
Language:
English or French and Bislama

Salary
GRT scale PS 5.5
