Job Description:
Vanuatu Christian Council (VCC) is selecting a
consultant who can prepare for and facilitate a participatory workshop with the
VCPP membership to develop a strategic plan that will define the future
direction and priorities of Vanuatu Church Partnership Program for the next
three years.
The consultant will undertake a situational analysis that may include a desk
review and stakeholder consultation prior to the workshop, develop a workshop
agenda and relevant activities for the workshop, facilitate a two (2) day
strategic planning workshop, document workshop outputs and through a drafting
process finalise a Strategic Plan based on feedback.
In addition the consultant will conduct a follow up review workshop on day
three (3) to consolidate the Strategic Planning process and provide guidance
notes to the Vanuatu Reference Group with the idea of better preparing them
with skills to undertake a similar exercise for their own respective church
requirements.

Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in planning and facilitation
of workshops
- Thorough understanding of and skills in Strategic Planning
- A good understanding of development principles and practice
- Work experience in Vanuatu particularly in areas of capacity development and
Strategic Planning.
