Background:  
Vanuatu Family Health Association works in the country to deliver
Family Planning and Sexual Reproductive Health Services including health
awareness in communities. 
The Association advertises the position of a Data and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
 
 
Purpose for the Job: 
 
To enter daily clinic statistics on data systemTo conduct annual work plan monitoring including
activities and budgets and provide timely and regular reports highlighting
progress made and achievements, challenges and lessons learnedTo coordinate data collection, tallying,
consolidation and data entry and data analysis and reporting.  
Duties and Responsibilities: 
 
In close collaboration with Programme Officers and
Clinical Nurses, design simple data collection tools, forms and templates to
capture data at static clinic, mobile clinic, associate Community Based Distributors
(CBDs), communitiesCoordinate collection of data from the static
clinic, mobile clinic outreach, CBDs and youth outreach in close liaison with
clinical nurses and relevant staffConsolidate data and conduct weekly, monthly and
quarterly data entry in the Associations Global Reporting systemConduct data trend analysis and tabulation via
table, graphical, pictorial and mapping visualizationsCoordinate monitoring and tracking implementation
of project/programme activities in the Integrated Annual Work Plan in close
collaboration with relevant programme and clinical staff, highlighting progress
and achievements made and challenges and lessons learnedMonitor all project activities, expenditures and
progress towards achieving results (outputs/outcomes)In close collaboration with Programme Officers and
Clinical Nurses provide support in the design of survey forms when necessary
for the conduct of community based surveys for data collection and information
gatheringOther tasks and duties that may be assigned from
time to time by the Executive Director. 
 
 
 
Criteria: 
 
Education and Qualifications 
 
Year 12 – 13 leavers, who have been certified from
a recognized tertiary computer institution on web design, excel design skillsHave some knowledge on Monitoring and evaluation program activities.
