Industry: Other Location:  Port Vila, Vanuatu Job Hours: Part Time, Short term Contract Due Date 28-Oct-16 Job Description: The Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) seeks expressions of interest from suitably experienced persons to assist its Communications Committee in a nationwide campaign on enrollment of children at the right age. The purpose of the campaign is to create awareness within the communities of Vanuatu and encourage parents to enrol their children into class 1 when they are 6 years old regardless of whether they are living with a disability. It aims to involve community leaders and members. Please view the full description of the job via this link Criteria: The following selection criteria will be applied: Communications and/or advocacy qualifications and/or experience in campaign organisation and facilitation Knowledge and practical skills in community-based level communication and community awareness activities especially in the area of education Good verbal and written communication skills Public relations and media experience in Vanuatu including understanding of communication tools Good written and oral communication skills in Bislama; English and French is an essential requirement for this role Demonstrated organisational and administration skills Ability to work as a member of a team Ability and willingness to travel outside of Port Vila.
