Job Description:

The Ministry of Trade and Tourism wishes to recruit for the Department of Industry one qualified and experienced person for the post of the Driver/Messenger.

Duty and Responsibility

The Driver/Messenger will have to provide an efficient daily good driving service to the officers of the department of industry during official hours.

The office of the Corporate Services at the Ministry of Trade & Corporate will provide any person with information package containing details of the above vacancy including duties and responsibilities and reporting arrangements.

Interested applicant must possess the following requirements:


- A minimum educational qualification in a primary school level; Traffic rules; A minimum of at least two years work experience in a similar post is expected or familiar with cleaning of the office

environment, photocopying, handling telephone and messenger duty is an advantage

- Must have good communication skills; Practical analytical and creative thinker; Punctually, honest, flexible, and professional approach to work; Requires active listening and messenger

- Proficient both in writing, reading and speaking in english, bislama and working a knowledge of french is desirable.


VT 564,480 plus other government allowances.
