| | The University of the South Pacific is inviting applications for the position of Personal Assistant to the Director, Emalus Campus. The appointee will be required to manage the Campus Director’s Office and will perform the following duties: |
| | 1) Act as executive assistant to the Emalus Campus Director |
| | 2) Providing high level administrative and secretarial support for Emalus Campus and the School of Law |
| | 3) Liaise with other sections of the University at Emalus and Laucala Campus |
| | 4) Handle confidential matters |
| | 5) Arrange meetings, appointments and travel for the Campus Director and liaise with other members of the school of Law and other University Staff, as well as outside agencies and organisations on behalf of the Campus Director |
| | 6) Attend to students enquires, process applications and compile reports |
| | 7) Maintain stationary supplies, raise local purchase orders and accept deliveries for the Campus Director |
| | 8) Attend to other duties as may be required from time to time by the Campus Director and Head of the School of Law. |
| | Applicants must have the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - A formal Secretariat or any relevant formal qualifications; At least 3 years experience in a similar position; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good command of written and spoken |
| | English, very good management and organisational skills |
| | - The ability to meet deadlines and work under minimum supervision; High level of computer skills. |
| | Salary: |
| | VUV 1,568,593 to VUV 832,593 per annum |
