Job Description:

A position as head chef/food and beverage manager exists in a small hotel/ restaurant complex in port vila, vanuatu. This is a hands-on chef's position with duties extending to stock, staff and menu management and training. Lunch and dinner service in our 50 seat restaurant / bar currently operating 5 days a week is required as well as ordering supplies and

maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious young person who wants to take their career to the next level in the wider context of the industry. The position is available for an immediate start. Single accommodation on site with meals, laundry service, internet, work permit (if required), included in salary package.

Duties and responsibilities:

1) It is also envisaged that the successful applicant will assist with guest relations.

Interested applicant must have the following requirements:


- A minimum of 2 years as a head chef in a similar sized establishment is essential.


Salary will depend on relevant experience.
