The Pacific Aviation Safety Office (PASO) is currently implementing the Pacific Aviation Safety Office Reform Project (PASO Reform Project), supported by the World Bank. The PASO Reform Project has the development objective to ensure effective regional delivery of aviation safety and security oversight in Pacific Island Countries by strengthening the PASO’s technical and coordination

capacity. The project’s implementing Entity is PASO, with project implementation support from the Technical and Fiduciary Services Unit (TFSU) of the Pacific Aviation Investment Program (PAIP).

The PASO Reform Project intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include Legal Specialist for the PASO and expected to provide services for 120 working days’ input over 18 month period.

The PASO now invites eligible Individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above mentioned services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services; including a CV and a statement addressing qualification and experience requirements for the position.

A firm is eligible to nominate an individual – however, note that only the experience and qualifications of the nominated individual shall be used in the selection process, and that (their) corporate experience shall not be taken into account. The firm, if proposing an individual must specify whether the contract would be signed with the firm or the proposed individual. Please note Section 5 of
