Currently employing over 50 staff members, FSC adjusts its workforce regularly to align with project requirements. A dedicated team of managers and supervisors supports the Director General in overseeing on-site activities, while an assistant manages back-office administration. FSC prioritizes continuous training for its construction team and managers, ensuring the maintenance of the skills necessary for current and future projects.

Collaborating with international contractors enables the company to enhance standards and processes, ensuring optimal health and safety conditions for the team. A Health and Safety manager is deployed on each of the main project site and most of the workers are trained on HSE Australian certification.
Job Desctiption:
The role of the Work Supervisor will be the management and supervision of construction site activities in accordance with construction design, construction best practices and health and safety guidelines. The Work Supervisor will overlook a construction team made of Foreman, Skilled workers and Laborers; the full team will be from 10 to 20 workers at the peak of activities, supervising 2 to 5 small to medium construction projects.
The Work Supervisor will prepare and oversee the mobilization of the construction's teams, and implement construction activities in a timely and cost-effective manner. He/she reports progress to the Director General and ensure that all construction activities align with the established timeline and budget.
The Work Supervisor will be driving a company truck and will be in charge of pick up and drop off of the company employees from and to the construction projects, and will be also responsible of the deliveries of the construction material and the dispatch of tools and equipment for all constructions teams depending on the needs.
He/she must be detail-oriented and knowledgeable of building codes and construction safety regulations. He/she must be able to interpret building plans as well as demonstrating good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Selection Criteria:
• English or French proficiency (spoken and written), speaking Bislama is an asset for non Ni-van
• At least 2 or 3 work experiences in similar position, proven experience working as a Site Supervisor.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction or Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Driving licence is mandatory, first aid certifications is a bonus
• Ability to interpret blueprints, knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.
• Operational leadership skills and problem-solving skills with good organizational and communication skills.
