Organisation Description:
VANWODS Microfinance is well established organization providing microcredit and saving services to over seven thousand women in Efate, Santo, Malekula and Tanna.
Job Desctiption:
The position reports to Senior Field Account Officer. The role encompasses microfinance field work services to low and average income earners and is responsible for identify and developing new clientele, managing loans and savings portfolio of clients and providing customer care. Person is also responsible daily cash collections receipting and recording, daily balancing and banking of moneys and maintaining accurate, timely records and reports.
Selection Criteria:
Preferred Education
Year 13 leaving certificate. Formal training in the field of finance, accounting, and business, economics, or community development from recognized institution.
Preferred Experience
1 or more years' experience in the same field will be ideal. However, highly trainable fresh entries into the workforce are welcome.
Other Qualities, Knowledge and Skills
• Systematic work personality with sound attention to detail.
• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office.
• Must have excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be self-driven, proactive, objective, and have a service orientation.
• Well-mannered and groomed
• Systematic work personality with sound attention to detail.
• Capable of working under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good moral character and have no derogatory and/or criminal records.
• VALID Driver license is essential but not compulsory
