Job Description: The Corporate services under the Ministry of Health wishes to recruit an experience and qualify person to the following position. Under the directorate planning, policy and corporate services Job Title:         Principal Health Planner Post No:           8083 Grade:             SSK 6.8 Annual Salary: 2,399,040 VUV The Human Resource Unit of the MOH will be able to provide any person with information package containing details of the above vacancy including duties, responsibilities and reporting arrangements.

Criteria: Qualification Degree or Post Graduate Degree Special Business Education Public Health, Business Administration or Public Policy Experience 5 years in senior level management with good understanding of the Health sector in Vanuatu and a strong background in planning Special Skills Supervision skills Excellent planning skills Research skills Liaison skills Interpretation skills Computer literate Thinking Style Creative and reasonable thinker Must have ability to critically assess and continuously improve Able to think proactively, strategically, quantitatively and analytically while being practical and open minded Be visionary and lead with direction Communication/Interpersonal skills Good listener Excellent verbal and written communication skill Experience in presentation preparation and public speaking Have networking and negotiation skills Ability to deal with different levels of people and good sound decision making Behaviour Competencies  Respect, honest and reliable Be professional and have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Must show integrity and continually strive for excellence, commitment & punctual Language English or French and Bislama.
