Job Description:
World Vision Vanuatu is a development organization that works to transform communities. Over the past 33 years - working to the development priorities of the Vanuatu Government - World Vision Vanuatu has worked in partnership with communities to deliver critical services in health, education, humanitarian emergency, water and sanitation, gender and rural livelihoods. At the heart of our approach is ensuring that the services we deliver are relevant, cost-effective and make a lasting difference.

We are recruiting for the position of Procurement and Logistics Manager - this position will be based in World Vision Office in Port Vila.
The key functions of this are to:

1. Lead the Procurement and Logistics Unit that ensure the effective operation of World Vision in Vanuatu.

2. Develop strategies, policies and practices to improve the efficiency of World Vision Vanuatu logistical operations.

3. Strengthen staff capability in ensuring that goods and services required for programming are sourced according to World Vision international and best practice procurement policies.

4. Oversee the Information Technology (IT) management.
The Ideal candidate should have the following:

        Criteria: 
        • Higher education and or qualification
        • At least 5 years experience supporting office functions including project management in development programming
        • Have proven ability in building strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders
        • Strong planning and organization skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
        • Able to work gracefully under pressure and in situations of uncertainty
        • Excellent written and verbal communication and relational skills. Be computer literate and able to communicate effectively in English and Bislama.
